From an early age I always had a keen interest in the natural world that I remember starting with David Attenborough's Wildlife on One. However, I only started capturing nature through photography in 2010. I started photographing in zoos around Europe as this gave me access to subjects that are often elusive or near on impossible to photograph in the wild. As I've continued to develop I've moved away from zoos and found that nothing compares to photographing wildlife in its natural environment. I've been fortunate enough to photograph subjects across the world from the marine life on the temperate Pacific coasts of Canada to the primates in the tropical rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra but I also have a deep appreciation for the fantastic wildlife we have here in the UK, in particular at home in Scotland.
