My interest in the natural world began at an early age, inspired in part by programmes such as David Attenborough's Wildlife on One, although I didn't begin photographing wildlife until 2010.

I initially photographed in zoos around Europe, which gave me access to subjects that can be elusive or extremely difficult to photograph in the wild. As my photography developed, however, I increasingly moved towards photographing wildlife in its natural environment, where the unpredictability of both the subject and its environment has become an important part of my photography.

I've since been fortunate enough to photograph wildlife and the natural world in many different environments, from the temperate Pacific coast of Canada to the tropical rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra, and the plains and forests of Africa and South America. At the same time, I have a deep appreciation for the wildlife closer to home, particularly here in Scotland.

This website brings together a selection of my wildlife, nature and landscape photography from those experiences.
